Posting Job Summary (Purpose): The field technical facilitator focuses on developing and delivering various training modules and workshops to educate employees the essential skills in the workplace. This includes assessing the skill level of current employees, creating effective training materials and delivering training programs in classroom settings to individuals and in groups.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Delivers group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, and/or operational areas. + Provides input on training curricula and/or recommends or utilizes vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives. + Provides input on training outlines, instructional methods, from their knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops. + Recommends changes to existing training programs by providing feedback to the FTF Lead + Delivers up-skill and refresher training to existing employees. + Provides input on potential training aids, training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works. + Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs. + Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data and provides input to program revisions, recommends changes to instructional objectives and methods. + Maintains records of training attendance in the LMS; monitors progress reports for trainees and assesses training results. + Assists in analyzing and assessing training development needs for individuals and districts. + Serve as subject matter expert for special projects.

Education and Experience Required:

BA / BS preferred, with min. 5+ yrs in field operations, supervision or management Experience with conduction in-depth multi-day training Strong background in facilitating and understanding the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of adult learning. Propane, industrial gas, or related chemical industry work experience desired P.E.R.C. – Certified Employee Training Program desired Smith System Driving Experience desired Familiarity with Learning Management Systems Excellent facilitation and presentation skills in virtual and face to face classrooms Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Basic project management/organizational skills Excellent listening skills Strong desire and aptitude for employee training and development Proven track record of customer service Strong behavioral safety skills Working knowledge of NFPA 54 & 58, or related codes desired CDL Preferred – Candidates will need to obtain a CDL within 12 months of moving into the role.
