Role:
Job Summary The Credentialed Trainer continuously supports and provides education for Northeast Georgia Health System entities and users of the electronic health record (EHR) system and other business applications. Will plan and assist in curriculum development in accordance with training leadership needs and direction. Works with the Principal Trainer to answer end user questions on workflow design and system build in order to gain in-depth knowledge of the rationale behind the workflow design. Pursues new developments in education and training methodologies and under the direction of the Team Lead as deemed appropriate. Additionally, the Credentialed Trainer will support at least two application areas. Promotes a climate for the participant that encourages learning and self-motivation through the application of principles of adult learning. Collaborates with Principal Trainer and Team Lead to ensure education topics meet end user needs and organizational initiatives. Utilizes exemplary interpersonal skills and cooperates harmoniously with others at all levels. Contributes to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and patient population. Performs other duties as needed. A Credentialed Trainer must maintain a yearly credentialed status according to the guidelines or re-credentialing. Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications: Required to successfully complete credentialing within three (3) months of hire date and maintain the yearly credentialed status.
Educational Requirements:
Associates Degree or Technical Degree. In lieu of degree, will consider individuals with IT or Operations experience.
Minimum Experience:
Two (2) years work experience in a professional environment working with training systems or software required.

Experience in training or development of clinical and business software applications used by healthcare professionals is highly desired.

Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to apply adult learning principles under the supervision of the Principal Trainer Ability to execute technical training for a variety of projects and end user groups Ability to prepare materials, understand how to navigate a built training environment, prepare an organized training space, and other criteria to facilitate classroom training Ability to navigate easily with computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Excellent public speaking and presentation skills, and ability to communicate and collaborate one-on-one as well as with groups Strong communication skills to follow up with the Principal Trainer on outstanding questions and content concerns that arise in the classroom Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Under direction from the Principal Trainer will help in creating, updating and testing system training documentation including: Manuals, outlines, curricula, training scripts, objectives, handouts, quick reference guides, tests, proficiency assessments, post-training support materials and evaluations. Track end user attendance and participation of training in the Learning Management System (LMS). Actively participate in system testing. Prep training environments prior to training an end user training session. Administer assessments to gather end user knowledge after training sessions. Leads onboarding activities for the Technical Training team. Participate in regular operational rounding in order to determine end user adoption and need for remediation and/or ongoing training. Manage a work que for training issues and give feedback to analysts for solutions. Collect feedback and report that information to the Principal Trainer. Facilitates study halls and personalization labs for end users as needed. Support 2 or more application areas and maintain status of credentialed in both areas. The status of credentialed is re-evaluated yearly. Identifies issues within the training environment that don’t align with curriculum and reports findings to Team Lead and Principal Trainer.
