Anticipated Salary Range:

$65,247.00 – $98,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location, expectations, and responsibilities. Job Description Enlighten is looking for a Cyber Operations Training Instructor to develop curriculum and instruct material alongside supporting data scientist teams. Candidate must have an engaging personality, responsiveness, and excellent teaching skills. Will work in a fast-paced, culture driven environment with our talented team. Must have a background and understanding of cyber operations and analysis. Position requires ability to travel up to 1-2 months out of the year to work with users/customers both CONUS and OCONUS. Being flexible when and where needed is key to being successful in this role. When not traveling, role is hybrid with some on-site team interaction. #LI-KB2 #Mid-Senior Level Essential Job Responsibilities Create engaging training materials in a variety of formats including web-based training, videos, slides, instructor/participant guides, knowledge checks, practical exercises/labs, handouts, and one-sheets. Conduct advanced training courses in cyber hunt, log analysis, intrusion investigation, tool/ platform usage, and other relevant topics, through use of lectures, demonstrations and hands-on lab exercises. Revise course materials as necessary to improve training effectiveness. Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and industry professionals to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cyber hunt and related fields. Collaborate with other trainers and instructional designers to develop comprehensive training programs that meet the needs of various audiences. Provide mentorship and guidance to trainees, including coaching on technical skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerabilities in order to provide relevant and timely training to trainees. Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Security Clearance:

A current U.S. Government Security Clearance is not required on day 1, but will be processed for a Secret level clearance; U.S. Citizenship required 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience Experience conducting technical training in classrooms or small groups Experience in cyber operations and analysis Experience in training curriculum development Experience working with Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools Strong presentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Travel required up to 1-2 months out of the year; sometimes on short notice

CONUS/OCONUS

Must be willing to work hybrid the rest of the time with some on-site meetings with the local Enlighten team Preferred Requirements Structured Query Language (SQL) experience preferred. Experience with optimizing learning content for various platforms including distance learning. Experience with creating Web-based Trainings. Experience with Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies and Cyber Security. Background in Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), Network Operations (NetOps), and Intelligence Operations (IntelOps) Formal instructor certification preferred DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.
