ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordinates the collection of manufacturing data used for evaluation of production results (KPIs).
Assist in the development of process documentation and operator work instructions (OWIs) to help facilitate operator training on equipment operation, part processes and part quality inspection.
Reviews new floor documents issued that require training validation including the creation of training packets for supervisor use with required training materials and sign off documents. Follow up to ensure completed and returned.
Oversees the daily production scrap entry process for cost tracking, quality improvement, and improved efficiency activities.
Utilizes the Hitachi Quality System to manage the retention of production records and machine data for

compliance.
Participates in Kaizen activities to ensure continuous improvement in processes, products, components, raw materials, and equipment.
Oversees proper filing of training documentation
Audits training logs – completion, sign off, and discussion with trainees
Regularly communicates with shop floor leadership to ensure findings are resolved and support resolution of their concerns
Support raining the trainers. Ensure that the trainers are properly equipped with knowledge and skill set for successful training of employees

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
A progression level of Tech II or higher
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be proficient in MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint. Some Access experience preferred.
Ability to work with limited daily guidance, but complete goals/expectations of the position
Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Need to be able to work/communicate with each shift as needed.

None.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Required to sit or stand and move about the facility. Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Combination of office and plant environment. May be required to use safety glasses and wear steel toe shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas.
