TRAINER AND DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST

: Baton Rouge, LA computer support firm seeking a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter to conduct end-user software training, in both formal classroom and one-on-one settings. Responsibilities include educating users on both custom and third-party software products and creating clear, user-friendly documentation. This dual-role position is key in ensuring end-users are well-equipped to use software efficiently through effective training and accessible documentation. Additional duties include developing customized presentations, videos, tutorials, and exercises; evaluating training effectiveness and adjusting materials and methods accordingly; providing ongoing user support and refresher training as needed; and maintaining training schedules and coordination of sessions with various departments. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 12 months’ experience in software training, technical writing, or instructional design, strong proficiency with office productivity tools, the ability to quickly learn complex software systems and translate them into user-friendly instructions, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
