BlueFin is based in Lafayette, LA Job Summary We are seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Training Coordinator to design, implement, and oversee technical training programs that enhance employee competencies and support operational excellence. This role involves collaboration with management and external partners to prepare training modules, ensure the training materials are tracked, reviewed, and published on time, evaluate training needs, and report on the measures put in place for effectiveness of learning initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule technical training sessions in partnership with management and operational teams. Develop and maintain training modules tailored to specific product lines and equipment within the PPIS suite of services. Track and report on training completion status and program effectiveness. Liaise with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, revise, and improve training content. Produce engaging training materials, including handouts, videos, manuals, and classroom aids. Organize and document competency assessments and maintain training logs. Ensure all training environments (classroom, shop, field) are adequately prepared and equipped. Collect trainee feedback to continuously improve program quality. Maintain accurate records of employee training and certifications using designated systems. Ensure proper maintenance of training equipment and materials. Prepare training material for new product lines alongside operations, SMEs, and support staff Work with QHSE to ensure approved documents are published and tracked according to our
ISO 9001
standard. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years in a training environment. At least 5 years in an operational role within the industry. Strong communication and organizational abilities. Knowledge of instructional design and module delivery for varied product lines. Proficiency in tracking and reporting training data. Awareness of leadership, business, and project management principles. Physical Requirements Travel may be required Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Extended use of computer and screen time.
