Job Description

Training Coordinator C-Dive, LLC DBA Champagne Energy & Environmental Solutions 115 Menard Rd, Houma, LA 70363 SCOPE and PURPOSE The Training Coordinator reports to the Human Resource Manager. The basic function of the position is to analyze current processes and drive performance improvement through various instructional design, instructor delivery, and curriculum development processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support all profit and growth objectives established in cooperation with the management of the company.
  • Ensure the operation of the department is monitored through verbal and/or written reports on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and deliver ongoing staff development activities which fulfill mandatory requirements including general new hire orientation.
  • Prepare reports and maintain records of training to monitor for expiration or renewal in addition to preparing statistical data for management review.
  • Assist with ongoing professional development of licensed staff through in service or outsourced training.
  • Researches availability of a variety of courses offered by external organizations and present information in an organized manner to managers.
  • Process and requisition third party training as they are scheduled with department manager approval.
  • Requisition and distribute PPE once training is complete to new hires.
  • Maintain Training Center schedule for availability.
  • Track personnel certifications, developing skills sets for each position, monitoring training requirements and scheduling training as required for renewal or for job requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate the training needs of the crew to the appropriate personnel to ensure the accomplishment of the company goals of servicing our client’s needs while providing the best possible work environment for company employees.
  • Prepares copies of training certificates for respective Personnel Coordinator and Human Resources including third party training certifications.
  • Maintain all databases (i.e. ISNetworld, Veriforce (PEC/OQ), OQSG, ) associated with training by keeping employees employment status accurate.
  • Prepare training certifications and report test results to proper associations.
  • Complete questionnaires regarding training and assist in providing information for audits as needed.
  • Set skill sets required for each position and maintain data.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and industry experience, diving industry experience a plus
  • 3+ years or more in training/development and/or classroom instructor
