Role:

As a Trainer, you will play a key role in preparing users for the transition, ensuring they understand both the new system and the associated business process changes. You will collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver engaging, effective training experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deliver training materials, job aids, and performance support tools. Facilitate training sessions in various formats: in-person, virtual, one-on-one, and group settings. Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, room setup, and equipment. Track attendance, monitor enrollment, and report on training outcomes. Review and tailor vendor-provided training content to meet Commonwealth-specific needs. Collaborate with SMEs, agency staff, and vendors to execute the training plan. Support post-implementation training and issue resolution. Develop multimedia content such as instructional videos and tutorials. Ensure accessibility and quality of all training materials. Participate in software testing and provide feedback to improve training effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 3-5 years of experience in training development and delivery within large organizations. Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Proficiency in instructional design and adult learning principles. Experience with training logistics, scheduling, and coordination. Familiarity with eLearning tools (e.g., Captivate, Camtasia, Snagit, Storyline). Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook), MS Teams, and SharePoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Willingness to travel to various Commonwealth agency locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting large-scale IT system implementations or upgrades. Knowledge of financial systems with features such as: Complex Chart of Accounts GAAP Reporting Federal Grants Management Procurement and Contracting Asset and Inventory Management Billing and Accounts Receivable Data Reporting and Analytics Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Jira, Confluence). Experience developing accessible training content and multimedia resources.
