Glucose Training Specialist (MA, NH, CT)

, MA Nova Biomedical is hiring a Glucose Training Specialist for the MA, NH and CT territory. This is a part-time, on-call field position to train and implement Nova Biomedical StatStrip meters. Glucose Training Specialists will be responsible for training end users on the proper use and care of the StatStrip system. Candidate will be performing clinical training services at hospitals throughout the United States in support of our expanding StatStrip bedside glucose hospital product line. In this contracted position, successful candidates will be offered opportunities to travel to customer sites and train end users on the StatStrip system as part of a team of onsite trainers. Additional responsibilities include documenting end user training and certifying the end user has demonstrated core competencies associated with the StatStrip system. Training specialists will also assist in ‘go live’ dates and assist in deployment and testing of the meters. Qualified candidates will be field trained to become trainers on the StatStrip system. Contracted training specialists will be responsible for training hospital end users on the proper use of the StatStrip system.

Qualifications:

This candidate must have hospital glucose testing experience as a qualified healthcare professional (RN, LPN, Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technologist), have basic computer skills, strong presentation skills, a flexible schedule (or are semi-retired and would like to keep your hands in a clinical hospital setting), and are able to travel via air for 2-7 day assignments and some weekends.

Skills and Competencies:

Ability to present company reviewed content completely and consistently over numerous classes. Also must be able to assist in “Go-live” activities which require the GTS to travel throughout the hospital

Education:

RN, LPN, Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technologist

Experience:

Proven ability to present information in a professional engaged manner

Pay Rate:

$45/ hour work – $22.50/ hour travel
