This role works collaboratively with department leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs, schedule and facilitate learning sessions, and ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and standards. The coordinator plays a key role in promoting continuous learning, supporting onboarding processes, and maintaining accurate training records. Examples of Duties Ensures all mandatory training programs (e.g., safety, regulatory, legal) are delivered effectively and in accordance with relevant laws and standards. Performs comprehensive needs assessments and evaluates performance metrics to identify workforce skill gaps and establish targeted training priorities. Maintains revision of Instructional content to reflect changes in policy, law, procedures, or best practices, incorporating adult learning principles. Offers strategic leadership, guidance, and performance evaluation for instructional designers, facilitators, and support staff engaged In the delivery of training programs. Coordinates the scheduling, delivery, and tracking of training programs, Including managing learning management systems (LMS). Provides strategic oversight or subject matter expertise in the development and implementation of structured onboarding and orientation programs for new employees. Collaborates with departmental leadership and executive management to ensure staff development initiatives are strategically aligned with organizational goals and priorities. Performs other duties assigned. Typical Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field. 2-3 years or experience in professional development and training. Experience with e-learning platforms and virtual training tools. Proven ability to independently develop and manage work plans, exercising sound judgment, proactive initiative, and consistent diligence to drive projects to successful completion. Comprehensive understanding of adult learning theories and effective instructional methodologies. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
