Freightliner Dealer DTNA Trainer | Jackson, MS 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Richland, MS 39218 Empire Truck Sales, LLC is one of the largest Freightliner-Western Star Heavy Truck Dealerships in the Southeast. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Freightliner Dealer Trainer to coach and mentor our dealership Service teams. This position will be based in Jackson, MS. We are seeking a technical service training specialist who has prior experience working on heavy trucks, equipment, rental, leasing fleets, and/or any similar industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and conduct DTNA technical training materials, classroom agendas, and certification programs. Assess training needs and partner with team leadership and Service Managers to create training paths for our service technicians. Create training schedules and ensure that all dealership technicians are on target to achieve and maintain manufacturer certifications. Train and instruct new technicians on processes and protocol. Document and track certifications necessary for ongoing technician training and development. Develop and deliver needed training to support parts and service in policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. At least 5 years of experience related to the service, repair and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks is required Previous experience with a Freightliner-Western Star dealer is a plus Prior knowledge of Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) training programs is a plus Proficient use of computers and software such as Microsoft Office Suite and other web-based applications Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean MVR Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to present material and complete the learning process. Professional demeanor and appearance Must be able to travel as needed to provide on-site trainings at our dealerships and to obtain necessary certifications Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
