We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Specialist I in our Staff Development department. This position will function as the Office Manager and provide hands-on support to enhance the Department’s productivity, efficiency, and overall effectiveness to ensure quality staff development outcomes. The duties of this position involve preparation of training materials, visual aids, classroom structure, training documentation, scheduling and coordinating training events, maintaining training records and attendance (paper and electronic), updating training materials, manuals, online modules, producing data/reports for facility and department needs, ordering supplies, monitoring inventory of training supplies, equipment, materials, etc. This position plays a key role in the coordination and facilitation of CRH Hospital Orientation and Clinical Orientation. The position will work collaboratively with departmental staff for scheduling and planning training courses and other events within the Department.
This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package. The normal working hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; however, flexibility is required to meet to meet hospital needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely in oral and written form
Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge and skills in commonly used computer software (i.e., Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, OUTLOOK, Learning Management System (LMS) to produce reports, presentations, documents, etc
Considerable knowledge in use of audiovisual aids and other training tools and resources
Basic knowledge, understanding and ability to apply principles of adult learning and various methodologies
Basic knowledge and abilities in the usage and maintenance of common office equipment is necessary
Well organized and detail oriented with excellent ability to independently prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment Physical requirements will be discussed in detail during the interview. Work is typically performed in an office or classroom setting. Moderate physical exertion is required. Close visual attention to computer and other video production related equipment.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
