This role involves coordinating various aspects of the development process, including site analysis, due diligence, budgeting, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in real estate principles and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:

Assist in managing development projects by coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, including architects, engineers, and contractors.

Site Analysis:

Conduct preliminary site assessments, including zoning research, environmental considerations, and market analysis to determine project feasibility.

Due Diligence:

Gather and analyze data related to property acquisitions, including title reviews, surveys, and environmental reports.

Financial Analysis:

Support the preparation of project budgets, pro formas, and financial models to assess project viability.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure projects comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.

Documentation:

Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, presentations, and correspondence with stakeholders.

Stakeholder Communication:

Liaise with government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and community engagement.

Land Acquisition & Planning:

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate the purchase of land for development projects, ensuring compliance with zoning laws and environmental regulations. Develop and implement land use plans that balance environmental sustainability, economic growth, and community needs, ensuring alignment with zoning regulations and stakeholder interests.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate development, project management, or a related area. Real Estate License Required Strong understanding of real estate development processes, including site selection, due diligence, and regulatory approvals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with project management software is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Familiarity with local real estate markets and regulatory environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a related field. Experience with sustainable development practices and certifications (e.g., LEED). Knowledge of affordable housing programs and financing mechanisms.
