Job Description

Implementation Engineer 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars North Carolina

  • Remote This is a high-profile, client-facing position where client satisfaction and maintaining ACF’s high-quality standards are a priority.

The Implementation Engineer is also required to be a Training Specialist and will be responsible for the complete client implementation experience, including technical deployment, system configuration, and comprehensive training. This role combines technical expertise with educational skills to ensure clients can successfully adopt and utilize ACF solutions. Work is hybrid remote from home using ACF supplied hardware. Must have reliable internet access at home and a dedicated work area free of distractions. Travel is required up to 60% of the time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Implementation

  • Successfully lead multiple project implementations in queuing and customer flow environments
  • Lead network architecture, system fail-over, and technical system design discussions with customer IT departments, installation contractors, or vendors
  • Install and configure ACF solutions and partner applications/systems/hardware per ACF protocols on wired or wireless infrastructure
  • Act as a technical lead to resolve technical issues during the implementation process
  • Provide support to IT Support and PMO teams when not traveling, including system configurations and troubleshooting Training
  • Create and maintain customized and generic training materials for on-site and remote client training sessions
  • Work directly with clients to develop detailed training agendas and documentation specific to project needs
  • Deliver training presentations to clients in classroom settings or train-the-trainer sessions either onsite or remotely
  • Collaborate on the creation, upkeep, and organization of training materials for ACF employees in the LMS
  • Maintain and update documentation in the ACF knowledge base General
  • Work directly with project team members and clients to determine proper implementation and training plans

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a technically related field OR equivalent related work experience
  • 2-5 years of teaching/training experience in public and business sectors
  • Advanced level of deploying and supporting Microsoft Windows Server platforms, SQL, IIS server, and associated networked systems
  • Detailed knowledge of network protocols/architecture (TCP/IP, IP routing, VLAN) and relevant security configurations
  • Experience configuring, setting up, and debugging PC-based and web-based systems
  • Excellent presentation and training skills
  • Ability to adjust training style for a variety of users
  • Ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Professional attire and appearance required for onsite work Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in CompTIA Sec+
  • Experience with Moodle LMS
  • SQL/Scripting/Reporting Engines/XML/Analytics (SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • Instructional design knowledge/experience Travel
  • Must be willing to travel up to 60%. Valid driver’s license required and must pass an MVR screening. For domestic travel, RealID-compliant identification will be required. For international travel, a valid passport is required with at least six months validity beyond planned travel dates. Physical Requirements

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
