We’re looking for anexperienced Technical Trainer to join us!

Responsibilities Consult with stakeholders to define technical enablement needs;this is a shared responsibility with the training team. Work with multiple teams, including Engineering, ProductManagement, SME, Sales, and Support, to consolidate knowledgeelements, review, validate, and ensure training content aligns withbusiness requirements. Manage and deliver technical training to our customers,prospects, partners, and internal Qualys employees, in-person orvia virtual mediums. Collaborate with team members to design, develop, maintain anddeliver exceptional technical training materials in multiplemodalities, including eLearning, videos, simulations, labs, andinstructor-led classroom training. Independently design, build, and deliver training courses andassociated training aids like videos, simulations and labguides. Be an advocate for Qualys Products and contribute to thesuccess of our training programs. Conduct peer reviews for existing content developmentactivities. • Assist Leads on Training Projects. Develop your skills to become a subject matter expert onflagship products you create and deliver training for and addressvarious knowledge needs for the support organization with the primeresponsibility of training customers and employees. Assist in designing, building, and maintaining virtual labenvironments and associated lab guides to support technicaltraining courses. Manage functions in the Learning Management System relevant toyour job duties.

Skills and Experience Essential BSc/MSc degree or equivalent experience in computer science orrelated engineering fields. Minimum 3+ years of experience in delivering technicaltraining, both in-person and remotely. Minimum 5+ years of experience with Cyber Security products orplatforms, such as but not limited to Endpoint Security,Vulnerability Management, SIEM (Security Information and EventManagement), Network Security, Firewall, UTMs, Compliancesolutions, etc. Must have previous experience in designing and developingmaterials and writing assessments for technical training. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. •Ability to execute several parallel tasks and prioritizeappropriately. Ability to adapt to recent technologies and learn quickly. Must be based in Raleigh, US. Must be open to travel independently for onsite trainingdelivery. Must be experienced in working across multiple geographicregions when required.

Desirable Knowledge and experience of using Qualys products. Experience with delivering Certification-based Training as partof an education program. Experience with Video content and Simulation creation toolslike Adobe Premiere, Screenflow, Camtasia, Captivate. Understanding of compliance standards and frameworks such asPCI, CIS, NIST, etc. Knowledge of any one of the Public Cloud Platforms such as AWS,Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Experienced in creating/modifying custom scripts. Experienced in building complex virtual environments. Experience with Adult learning theory. Experience with instructional design models. CompTIA Security +, ISC2 CC and Cloud Platform Certificationsare a strong plus.

A technical presentation will be required duringthe interview process. References of sample videos and trainingmaterials created by the candidate will be a plus.
