Primary Purpose of Position:

Are you looking for a dynamic work environment where you can grow and make an impact? The Human Resources Office is seeking a dedicated and skilled Training Coordinator to join our HR team! The Training Coordinator will support the continuous growth and development of our workforce. This position will service our NC State Parks and Recreation Division. The ideal candidate will report to our Staff Development Manager in our DNCR Human Resources Division and will provide instructional plans, materials, and training to employees. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Identify, create and implement training modules, evaluate the effectiveness of various learning and development programs and maintain training databases/records.
Serve as the primary training facilitator/instructor for E-Learning, workshop presentations, and classroom sessions (face-to-face or virtually).
Research third party contracts for trainings and work with the safety team to schedule such specialized outsourced classes.

Position/Physical Requirements:

Typical work schedule, Monday to Friday; 40 hours Must become a Certified facilitator for Office of State Human Resources (OSHR) coursework including Leading at all Level (LAAL), and Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Fundamentals (EEODF) training.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

Qualified candidates must have or be able to:
Demonstrated knowledge of e-learning software and/or Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
Demonstrated experience of formal or informal training communicating with diverse audiences.
Demonstrated experience and/or education in developing curriculum for instructor lead or e-learning courses.
Demonstrated the ability to create reports based on trainings created and facilitated.

Management Prefers:

Excellent time management skills and able to manage multiple tasks.
Demonstrated skills establishing and/or maintaining effective working relationships with managers/supervisors/employees. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
