Job Summary:
A Calibration Technician Level 4 must beable to safely complete monthly planned and demand maintenancetasks per assign cGMP procedures. This role is designed to ensureinstrumentation maintains required specifications and reliabilitylevels. This requires multiple skill sets based on electricaltheory, instrumentation knowledge, trouble shooting, failureanalysis (RCA), Lonza processes, education, software skills, andprior experience. A senior technician is expected to be able toprovide instructions as a trainer to assist junior technicians withtheir training requirements. The focus at this level should shiftto team development and process improvement methodology.

KeyResponsibilities:
Assess calibration requirements (ranges, frequency, etc.) fornew instruments and add to CMX for routine maintenance. Interfacewith global project team to ensure handover timelines are met.
During project phase, team will be on a M-F schedule and willtransition to a shift schedule to align with routine 24/7operations. Perform routine calibration and maintenance work at a highlyproficient rate throughout the facility. Responsible for ensuring work is completed on time, review andclosure of completed work orders and ensuring all areas ofresponsibility are in a state of inspection readiness at alltimes. Complete safety and cGMP training including classes, reads, andtechnical requirements as a trainee and a trainer. It is expectedto demonstrate a higher level of technical training development atthis level. Highly proficient at tasks and documentation using CMX, SAP,DMS, QMS, Excel, word or other software tools as required per GMPguidelines. Provide engineering support such as tracking and closure ofchange controls, CAPAs, deviations and general technicalassistance. These types of tasks can also be extended to instrumentand system upgrades. Understands site production and maintenance priorities with anability to guide other technicians to reach site goals andcompliance. Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Strong English communication skills; reading, writing,speaking. Ability to commit to scheduled work shifts.
PreferredQualifications:
5+ years’ experience in Calibration, Metrology, Instrumentationor related field. Advanced electronic knowledge. Advanced communication protocol knowledge. Basic computer skills.
