A Retail Training Specialist is responsible for deliveringtraining programs to field merchandisers to ensure consistentimplementation of merchandising standards, product knowledge, andbrand representation across designated territories. This roleinvolves conducting hands-on training and providing ongoing supportto enhance the performance and productivity of field managers.

- Deliver comprehensive training programs and materials forfield merchandisers, including manuals, presentations, and visualaids.
- Travel up to 75 miles within assigned territory.
- Conducton-site and virtual training sessions to educate fieldmerchandisers on standards, product features, and promotionalcampaigns.
- Train field merchandisers on product placement,signage, and display techniques to maximize visual impact andsales.
- Provide hands-on coaching and feedback during store visitsto reinforce training concepts and address performance gaps.
- Collaborate with field managers to identify training needs andprioritize skill development areas.
- Monitor and evaluate trainingeffectiveness through metrics, observations, and feedback.
- Updatetraining materials based on product changes, guidelines, andindustry trends.
- Support new product launches and store resetswith timely training sessions and resources.
- Serve as a subjectmatter expert on merchandising best practices, trends, andcompetitor activities.
- Foster a positive learning environment andculture of continuous improvement among field merchandisers.
- Cover open territories executing client-specific work. How will yousucceed?
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizationalskills.
- Be a self-starter, quick learner, detail-oriented,flexible, and agile in adapting to various tasks and situations.
- Able to effectively communicate with others. Experience andQualifications
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Prior retailexperience and/or retail training experience is preferred.
- Proficient operating a smartphone and apps, sending/receivingemails, sending/receiving text messages; E-learning platforms.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and beavailable for occasional weekend work. Work Environment andPhysical Requirements
- Have good vision and the ability to stand,walk, sit, stoop, kneel.
- Be willing and able to work in coldenvironments conditions.
