Job Description
- Healthcare Team Trainer (remote)
- This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

Purpose:
- Team Trainers identify training needs and map out learning and development plans for individuals, teams, and projects.
Create training curriculum and facilitate training sessions. Analyze training progress and suggest additional training modules, as needed. The Team Trainer will make sure their clients continuously learn new skills and partner with vendors to provide special curriculums as needed. This is a 100% remote role and working Monday- Friday based on Arizona time between the hours of 6am – 2:30pm or 7am to 3:30pm.

Essential Functions:
- 1.
Create a training schedule that includes all areas of practice, including all levels of claims processing and enrollment. 2. Organize training sessions with Leaders. 3. Collaborate with claims department to leverage audit results for staff development 4. Research the training needs of all team and work on automation processes. 5. Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts. 6. Order and or create training supplies and material to enhance the training process. 7. Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and online tools. 8. Manage updates and revisions to technical literature, SOP’s, and DLP’s.

Qualifications:

Education:
- High school diploma, GED Certificate or equivalent. Associate’s degree in business or healthcare management or an industry-related certification preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ training experience preferred. Health care industry knowledge is required. Recent experience working Medicaid and / or Commercial health care claims.

Technical Competencies:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with SharePoint required
- Facets software experience required
- Excellent problem-solving skills.

Behavioral Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read Explanation of Benefits and apply Coordination of Benefits concepts
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Leadership skills

Salary and Other Compensation:
- Applications will be accepted until July 25, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $50,000-65,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
