Job Description
Overview:
The ARC of the Greater Hudson Valley is seeking Staff Development TrainerThe Staff Development Trainer is responsible for collaborating with management staff to identify training needs throughout the organization, develop training programs consistent with agency needs, research and coordinate external training opportunities and provide hands-on training to specific programs/ departments as requested.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
Familiarity with services and supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Experience with staff development and training.
Experience with curriculum development.
Valid NYS drivers license and proof of personal auto insurance requiredCompletion of all required agency training, including orientation, First Aid/CPR, and any electronic health record-specific certifications.
Must pass any required certifications or training.
Shift and Salary; This is a Full-Time position, Day Shift, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours weekly, $52,000 yearly, Benefits include Health Insurance, 401(k)Retirement plan, 401(k) matching, Paid time off, Employee discount, Vision insurance, Health savings account, Dental insurance, and Life insurance.
