The Motor Development Specialist will implement programs recommended by the Occupational and Physical Therapist to assist individuals to develop and maintain gross motor and sensory motor skills. This employee also is responsible to maintain communications between the Occupational and Physical Therapy Departments and all other members of the interdisciplinary team. Training and consultation will be provided by the Occupational and Physical Therapists and work performance will be directed by the Program Directors. Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: High School Diploma and related work experience is desired Such training as may have been gained through working with developmentally disabled individuals. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills Motor Development Specialist will implement programs recommended by the Occupational and Physical Therapist to assist individuals to develop and maintain sensory motor skills.
