This position will be based out of our corporate office in Hummelstown, PA. The Training Development Specialist is primarily responsible for managing all logistical, administrative, and support function s associated with training operations. This role focuses on ordering inventory, managing travel arrangements, maintaining certification records, tracking performance, and managing student rosters and promotion paperwork, while acting in accordance with company values, vision, and mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
Order and manage inventory for training materials and equipment. Coordinate travel arrangements, including hotel bookings and transportation for instructors and students. Maintain accurate and up-to-date certification records for instructors and students. Track performance metrics for training programs and individual instructors. Manage and maintain student rosters, ensuring accurate records of attendance and performance. Oversee file maintenance for training-related documentation, including paperwork for trucks and other training vehicles. Track and document promotion processes and paperwork for trainees. Serve as a liaison between the Training Department and Field Operations regarding training requests and scheduling. Produce and distribute training quality assurance reports, such as instructor utilization , student pass rates, and promotion turnaround times. Assist with coordinating guest instructors and external training events. Collaborate with peers, managers, and directors to ensure alignment with Flagger Force processes and procedures. Other duties as assigned by Training Supervisor(s) and Managers.
