What You’ll Do:
As a Lead Simulator Trainer, you’ll be responsible for guiding trainees through state-of-the-art simulations, helping them master the skills they need for heavy equipment operation and GPS-based systems.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Operate and Manage Simulators Deliver hands-on training with CM Labs heavy equipment simulators, to deliver realistic training scenarios for equipment operation. Guide candidates through simulation experiences, providing instruction and feedback to enhance their skills. Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality. Train on GPS Equipment Use Trimble GPS simulators to train candidates on precision navigation and GPS-guided equipment operations. Translate GPS data into real-world operating strategies. Ensure simulator settings align with training objectives and real-world applications. Schedule and Coordinate Training Manage training calendars and candidate sessions. Communicate clearly and make adjustments as needed. Work with supervisors to align schedules and maximize training flow Ensure efficient use of simulator resources and accommodate varying candidate availability. Track Progress and Performance Maintain detailed logs of skill development and simulation scores. Share progress reports with candidates and supervisors. Identify areas for growth and guide trainees accordingly.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) Experience with heavy equipment or familiarity with CM Labs/Trimble GPS systems Strong communication and organizational skills Basic computer skills for scheduling and documentation Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus A passion for teaching, mentoring, and hands-on learning
Work Environment:
Primarily indoor work in a training facility with extended periods of operating simulators. May require occasional lifting or setup of equipment (up to 50 lbs.). Flexible schedule, potentially including evenings or weekends based on training demands.
