We innovate new products and processes for our customers that drive safer, smarter, and more effective solutions. As we continue to grow we are looking for a Sales Trainer Manager to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the sales team. This role involves creating engaging training materials, conducting workshops, and assessing the effectiveness of training initiatives to ensure sales targets are met. This role will also develop and deliver other training throughout the organization. We envision this as hybrid role with the right individual working approximately 60% of the time in our Andrews headquarters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing sales staff. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to improve sales techniques and product knowledge. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Provide one-on-one coaching to sales staff, focusing on individual performance improvement and career development. Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs and develop targeted training solutions. Prepare training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules, to facilitate learning and retention. Coordinate schedules for training sessions and ensure all logistics are in place for successful delivery. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team to foster motivation and engagement. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance training content. Design and develop additional non-sales programs and experiences Maintain training records and reports on employee progress and development. Other duties as business needs dictate.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of demonstrated sales training experience, preferably in an industrial environment. Previous sales experience is a plus. Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of sales professionals. Proficient in using training software and tools. Strong analytical skills to assess training program effectiveness. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt training methods to meet varying needs. Solid business acumen and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel. Detail oriented, organized, with effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent people skills and an ability to build relationships with people at all organizational levels, both internal and external to the organization. Bachelor’s degree in Business/HR/Mgt./MKT preferred but not required. Additional training and education in training a definite plus.
