Hours Requirements:
Requires a Master’s degree in education supplemented by at least three years of experience in the classroom and/or in education administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. The Gifted and Talented endorsement is required or must be in process within one year of date of hire. Must possess a valid S.C. Teaching Certificate. Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
Description:
Under limited supervision, coordinates, administers and evaluates federally- and state-funded academic assistance programs and professional development programs for District teachers and administrators; develops program budgets and performs related fiscal management and reporting. Provides professional leadership in the development, implementation, and oversight of District programs for academically gifted students. Performs related professional, supervisory and administrative duties as required. Reports to the Chief of Academics and Administration.
