Job Duties:
The CWS Training Instructor serves as the training coordinator for the regional office by participating in planning, designing, implementing, conducting and coordinating training. Delivers and creates of in-person and virtual employee training and development programs on a wide range of Child Welfare topics. Assists in designing lessons, including the selection and organization of content, methods and materials needed to accomplish learning objectives. Works with regions to analyze training needs, to include problem solving and identifying program development needs. Schedules time, location and equipment for programs, courses, workshops, seminars and conferences. Develops and maintain a professional classroom training environment and monitor classroom attendance. Provides recommendations for curriculum design and assist in researching training topics to assist with curriculum development. Serves as internal/external consultant for specific program area(s) and assist with strategic planning process for CW training division. Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed. Performs other related duties assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree and related instructional experience along with two (2) years’ experience in instructional or training development programs or related program experience.
