Bilingual Training Specialist 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Nashville, TN 37201 Nashville manufacturer is looking to add a skilled, bilingual, Training Coordinator to their team. This role will facilitate training sessions on safe PIV operation, material handling, and compliance with OSHA and organizational safety standards. Essential Functions Facilitate in-person training sessions for PIV operators, covering topics such as safe vehicle operation, load handling, pre-use inspections, and workplace safety. Provide on-the-job training (OJT) for new PIV operators, including structured observation and task-specific coaching tailored to operator experience levels. Certify PIV operators by conducting practical skills assessments and ensuring compliance with OSHA and organizational safety standards. Conduct familiarization training for certified PIV operators when a new equipment model is introduced, focusing on key differences in controls, safety features, and operational procedures. Collaborate with LD Manager and EHS Manager to develop and update training materials that address specific PIV operational requirements and safety protocols. Maintain detailed and up-to-date training records in the HRIS, tracking operator progress, certifications, and retraining schedules. Audit the effectiveness of PIV training programs by conducting regular evaluations, analyzing operator performance data, and adjusting content to address identified gaps. Monitor compliance with OSHA standards and company policies through training audits, skills assessments, and facility walkthroughs. Provide coaching and feedback to PIV operators to reinforce safe practices and ensure continuous skill development. Lead safety demonstrations and participate in accident/incident reviews to identify training opportunities and enhance program effectiveness. Assist in the continuous improvement of training materials and programs, incorporating feedback and best practices to enhance learning experiences. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalency, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
