Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm Warehouse Operations is looking for a MHE Training Lead to work directly with our team members, to train, support, and sustain a solid training program within the operation. This role will be responsible for the overall success of the training program with a focus on training our team members use of Powered Industrial Trucks for use into their day-to-day job responsibilities. This person must embrace our positive culture, demonstrate our values, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy learning new things and solving problems in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Lead training sessions Coordinate and manage training schedule based on candidate progress accordingly Perform and maintain “On the Job” training/certifications for continual education Develop/Maintain a comprehensive training plan Maintain and update training materials as needed to aid in the educational process Educate new PIT operators on standard operating procedures within their work area accordingly Train on all methods of Material Handling Equipment Coordinate and conduct job shadowing initiatives Work with the supervisors to conduct impromptu training for those individuals that have fallen below metric expectations Performing Job Safety Observations Performing safety audits (such as: Dock safety, Racking, MHE charging stations, lanyard/harness) What is expected of you and others at this level Applies extensive knowledge and company policies to complete a wide range of assignments Demonstrates expert understanding of all levels of the job family and has thorough knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility Knowledge or experience working with Manhattan and IBS. Takes the lead in effectively applying new processes and skills in accomplishing assignments May provide technical guidance and training to others Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications Works on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issue Makes recommendation for new or revised processes and has a role on the implementation Adheres to all quality guidelines Qualifications Training experience is strongly preferred 2-3 years MHE experience preferred Knowledge or experience working with Microsoft Office Suite Proactive and effective communication and engagement skills Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and prioritize multiple activities with keen attention to details Ability to build and maintain strong relationships Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly Good verbal and written communication skills Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift Ability to follow direction and change priorities Good verbal and written communication skills High School Diploma/GED preferred Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
