This role emphasizes facilitating training sessions on safe PIV operation, material handling, and compliance with OSHA and organizational safety standards. When not conducting training, the Training Facilitator evaluates training program effectiveness, maintains compliance with safety protocols, ensures training records are accurate and up-to-date, and performs safety spot-checks in area of assignment. Essential Functions Facilitate in-person training sessions for PIV operators, covering topics such as safe vehicle operation, load handling, pre-use inspections, and workplace safety. Provide on-the-job training (OJT) for new PIV operators, including structured observation and task-specific coaching tailored to operator experience levels. Certify PIV operators by conducting practical skills assessments and ensuring compliance with OSHA and organizational safety standards. Conduct familiarization training for certified PIV operators when a new equipment model is introduced, focusing on key differences in controls, safety features, and operational procedures. Collaborate with L&D Manager and EHS Manager to develop and update training materials that address specific PIV operational requirements and safety protocols. Maintain detailed and up-to-date training records in the HRIS, tracking operator progress, certifications, and retraining schedules. Audit the effectiveness of PIV training programs by conducting regular evaluations, analyzing operator performance data, and adjusting content to address identified gaps. Monitor compliance with OSHA standards and company policies through training audits, skills assessments, and facility walkthroughs. Provide coaching and feedback to PIV operators to reinforce safe practices and ensure continuous skill development. Lead safety demonstrations and participate in accident/incident reviews to identify training opportunities and enhance program effectiveness. Assist in the continuous improvement of training materials and programs, incorporating feedback and best practices to enhance learning experiences. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalency, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum one year of technical experience in relevant subject matter, including hands-on technical training and soft skills development. Other Skills and Abilities Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences in both group and individual settings. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS). Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvements. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed for training demonstrations or equipment setup. Ability to distinguish between colors. Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit for prolonged periods. Ability to move about and between five (5) production and warehouse facilities.
