This individual is also responsible for creating and maintain all materials and documentation related to training. This position requires strong interpersonal skills along with high level facilitation skills for varying group sizes. The individual will need to be comfortable in an industrial manufacturing setting.

SUMMARY:
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING

Research, plan, organize training programs, seminars and other instructional programs to support company goal of creating a unified environment of continuous learning and development for all employees. Collaborate across teams, department managers to identify specific training needs through assessment, feedback and performance evaluations to coordinate specific training needs for production and supporting departments and positions. Develop and/or update training presentations, tests, study guides, job aids, and reference materials under the guidance of training leadership and/or subject matter experts. Assist in the implementation and management of the company’s learning management system platform, create and upload customized content, enroll users, track progress, provide technical assistance and training. Assist and administer training recordkeeping systems and ensure data is entered on a timely and accurate basis. Develop, implement and execute training programs that would benefit our diversified workforce, including cultural diversity training, E.S.L (English as a Second Language) and more. Respond to requests for training, ensuring that programs meet organizational needs and supervisors and managers, providing guidance on available training and performance improvement services. Working closely with managers, supervisors and production employees to ensure proper training is provided and tracked properly for each department. Assist in scheduling of training courses and training calendar. Administer training facilities including physical rooms, audiovisual equipment, visual aids and equipment used for on-the-job training Assist and promote and utilize the company’s learning management system to publish training courses. Facilitate professional training events for internal employees; demonstrate expertise in company Training Programs as well as an understanding of industry best practices. Gather feedback from trainees and employees after each education session. Maintains attendance records and results of assessments and retraining. Willing to learn new skills and develop in areas required for ongoing career success Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development to enhance program effectiveness. Promote a positive, professional image of the HR Department by conducting business with other Hyosung HICO departments, consultants, vendors, etc., in a timely and cooperative manner. Support and assist HYOSUNG HICO’s Human Resources staff and other staff as needed. Know HYOSUNG HICO’s Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION/SPECIAL

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Bachelor’s Degree in HR, business, education or related field and minimum of 3 years of experience in a discipline focused on the education of adults and the use of learning management systems, preferably in and industrial setting. In Person and virtual training experience a plus. Bilingual Spanish or Korean a helpful, but not required. Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required to communicate with employees and vendors. Ability to communicate complex technical processes in easy to understand terms Developed knowledge of Microsoft Office products and HR systems including training recordkeeping systems. Experience with course design software such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate. Experience with Learning Management System administration. Familiarity with design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud. Experience in a diverse environment with multiple language support a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Ability to use office equipment, such as PC, photocopier, fax machine, etc. Ability to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis.
