(5th-8th)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Current Alabama Teacher’s Certification, Master’s Degree or higher, with an endorsement in school guidance and counseling (preferred), classroom experience (preferred)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide a counseling program favorable to assisting students, faculty, and community members To motivate students to develop academic skills To establish effective rapport with students To establish a positive relationship with students, parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors Ability to assess and utilize student data

Starting Salary:

(Board approved salary schedule based on rank, certification, and experience)
