Pet Help Center Counselor:

Our PHC Counselors are the heart of animal retention, helping keep families stay together, reuniting lost pets, and strengthening the human/animal bond by offering resources they may need in order to do so. A normal day consists of a mix of in person, over the phone, and email counselling regarding stray cats/dogs/kittens as well as helping connect community members to solutions for problems with keeping their pet. An ideal candidate for this position demonstrates strong customer service skills, considers themselves a solutions-based problem-solver, and demonstrates a passion for learning. As a Pet Help Center Counselor, you will have the opportunity to partner closely with other departments to assist with shelter intake, learning and developing several skills along the way.

Schedule:

Full-Time (40 hours/week) and Part-Time (28 hours/week). Weekends required.

Salary:

$15/Hour (Non-Exempt)
