This candidate provides leadership in the school through the implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program aligned with the school’s mission to provide academic, social, emotional and college career development. The School Counselor performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in School Counseling or related field required. Florida Department of Education (FDOE) Professional Educator Certificate in School Counselor or related field, Grades 9-12. 3-5 years of related experience. Exhibited intellectual curiosity and a passion for fostering confident lifelong learners. Interest and experience in interacting with students outside of the classroom in co-curricular activities Excellent presentation skills. Knowledge and skill in use the of Excel & Word Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including a clear speaking voice. Must be fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission, teachings and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church. Must have a professional demeanor.
