Typical counseling duties include:
Supporting students in grades K-8 with academic, social, and emotional needs. Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success. Implementing and facilitating SEL programming and prevention services. Providing individual and small group counseling sessions. Supporting behavior interventions and the MTSS process. Coordinating services with outside agencies as needed. This is to be accomplished in a fast-paced, high-performing, and student-centered environment, with ample resources and ongoing professional development provided.
