8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday $__,___.00/per year Job Description Utilizing leadership, advocacy and collaboration, the High School Lead Counselor promotes student success by providing preventive services and responding to identified needs through implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program that helps guide all learners in their academic success, personal and social development, and career and college planning. Additionally, the Lead Counselor acts as a member of the counseling leadership team, managing/supervising and/or mentoring counselors and supporting efforts to improve student performance.. Elementary School Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Lead Counselor will supervise 5-10 School Counselors. This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing tasks; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Minimum Requirements :
Master’s Degree AND Georgia Certificate in School Counseling 3+ years of advising, teaching, or School Counselor experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience Proven experience in effecting positive change in an educational setting Passionate about student engagement and success Strong work ethic and self-motivation Strong Organization and technology Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with measuring and reaching planning goals. Ability to manage multiple activities at once and prioritize effectively Ability to adapt to a changing environment Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to travel 20% of the time as required Consistent access to reliable high-speed internet Certificates and Licenses GA PSC School Counseling License/Certificate Clear Fingerprint/Background Check Required. Work Schedule:
This is a Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, Primarily Remote Position. The noise level in the office is usually moderate (computers, printers, light foot traffic).
