Founded in 1961, Austin Prep is an independent, co-educational Catholic school in the Augustinian tradition, serving students in grades 6 through 12. The school enrolls approximately 800 students. The Health and Wellness Counselor addresses student needs that impact their learning, well-being at school, and the overall school social environment. Responsibilities include responding to urgent matters as they arise, meeting with or observing students, and providing support or workshops to teachers, school leadership, and parents. The Counselor may also refer students for external support services when appropriate.
