What You’ll Do:

Deliver engaging SEL instruction to small and large groups, including K-2 weekly enrichment classesProvide individualized and small group counseling using evidence-based practicesCollaborate with the Intervention, 504, and Exceptional Childrens teams to address social-emotional concernsPartner with the School Culture Committee to organize events that promote mental health, inclusivity, and well-beingDesign, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive developmental guidance programFacilitate effective referral processes for additional student supportPromote a respectful and inclusive school environment that celebrates diversityCommunicate effectively with students, staff, and familiesLead monthly family trainings in collaboration with school leadershipParticipate in carpool duty as part of school operationsBuild strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and familiesUphold professional, ethical, and legal standards outlined by

What You’ll Do:

Teach SEL content in small groups, large classes, and a rotating elective courseProvide one-on-one and group counseling using developmentally appropriate strategiesSupport students emotional and behavioral needs as part of MTSS, 504, or Exceptional Childrens processesCoordinate special events through the School Culture Committee focused on mental health, inclusion, and student wellnessGuide students and families through the high school transition process, including registration and informational sessionsDevelop and manage a robust developmental guidance programServe as a resource for staff through ongoing professional development and collaborationCommunicate clearly and empathetically with students, staff, and familiesLead monthly family workshops in partnership with school administrationContribute to daily school life through occasional carpool dutyFoster a supportive school culture rooted in respect and cultural responsivenessModel professional excellence in alignment with NCDPI and ASCA standards
