What You’ll Do:
Teach SEL content in small groups, large classes, and a rotating elective courseProvide one-on-one and group counseling using developmentally appropriate strategiesSupport students emotional and behavioral needs as part of MTSS, 504, or Exceptional Childrens processesCoordinate special events through the School Culture Committee focused on mental health, inclusion, and student wellnessGuide students and families through the high school transition process, including registration and informational sessionsDevelop and manage a robust developmental guidance programServe as a resource for staff through ongoing professional development and collaborationCommunicate clearly and empathetically with students, staff, and familiesLead monthly family workshops in partnership with school administrationContribute to daily school life through occasional carpool dutyFoster a supportive school culture rooted in respect and cultural responsivenessModel professional excellence in alignment with NCDPI and ASCA standards
