School Age Counselor Golden Child Development Center Raleigh, NC 27615 Job Summary As a School Counselor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students’ academic achievement, personal and social development, and career planning within a school setting. Responsibilities
- Educate students on various topics including academic success, career development, and personal well-being
- Provide counseling to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Assist in behavior management and conflict resolution strategies
- Develop and implement programs to address student needs
- Support students with special education requirements
- Offer Christian counseling services if applicable Skills
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of special education practices
- First aid certification preferred
- Familiarity with childcare and classroom management
- Ability to provide guidance and support to children of all ages
