The ideal candidate will foster the academic, social, and emotional growth of students in grades K-8 and will collaborate with staff, families, and community partners to help students thrive. This position plays a vital role in fostering a positive school culture and providing proactive and responsive services.

ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and group counseling to students on academic, social, and emotional issues.

Implement developmentally appropriate guidance curriculum and programs.

Develop and maintain confidential records and documentation.

Organize and lead parent and family workshops to support student development.

Coordinate with external agencies and community resources to provide additional support.

Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Participate in school meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities.

QualificationsMasters degree in School Counseling or a related field.

Valid NH School Counselor license or ability to obtain one.

Experience working with children K-8 preferred.

Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed practices, and social-emotional learning frameworks.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and outside agencies.
