Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic School Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, collaborative, and a self-starter. This individual will work closely with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and outside professionals to support student success.

Full-Time Key Responsibilities Uphold and promote the values of Catholic education while fostering a nurturing and inclusive school environment. Provide academic, college, career, and social-emotional counseling to students. Support students in goal setting, course selection, and post-secondary planning. Assess student needs and provide appropriate referrals to external mental health professionals when necessary. Consult with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop intervention strategies that promote student success. Monitor and track student progress, ensuring timely completion of counseling related tasks and deadlines. Deliver classroom presentations and workshops on topics such as college applications, career exploration, and mental health. Assist with the coordination of standardized testing, college application processes, and scholarship opportunities. Qualifications & Skills Commitment to Catholic education and the school’s mission. Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Appropriate state certification/licensure as a school counselor. Experience in academic, career, college, and social-emotional counseling preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff. Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
