Responsibilities Plan a guidance by objectives model that meets the overall needs of the students. Study records of students with students, parents, and teachers and prepare information for referrals. Conduct direct and indirect observation of students on a regular basis. Counsel with students and parents on a regular basis. Confer with and assist teachers and parents with pupil adjustment. Assist in coordinating student services. Plan and coordinate orientation programs. Direct and interpret the to state testing programs. Maintain pupil accountability system. Perform such other tasks as may be assigned. Experience/Qualifications Valid SC teaching credential with Elementary Guidance Counselor certification required. Highly developed human relations and communication skills. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Salary Range Teacher salary schedule 200 days
