Position Description Advertised Job Summary Coordinator of Student Education and Training Do you have experience mentoring and advising students? Are you excited about supporting students’ academic and personal growth? Do you have experience with presentation design or peer mentorship programs? The Coordinator of Education and Training, within the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA), is responsible for assisting with envisioning, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and services that provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful experiences beyond the classroom, with an emphasis on providing training and leadership development opportunities for campus and office initiatives. Day to Day for this position: Develop and implement programs that support students with opportunities to engage in meaningful experiences Organize and execute training sessions, workshops and events Assess the effectiveness of programs and services

Job Duties Job Duty Assist the Assistant Director with training and development initiatives for student stakeholders, including but not limited to OMSA associated student organizations, MAPP program participants, and EmpowerMENt. Serve as a role model, mentor, and student advocate. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 35 Job Duty Support the coordination of student peer educator selection and training. Assist the Assistant Director with presentation development and design. Collaborate with Student Engagement Coordinator to develop curriculum and that provide meaningful, beyond the classroom experiences, for all student populations. Meet with peer educators needing individual support Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 30 Job Duty Assist with the collection of participation data as part of the assessment and reporting processes to make data-informed decisions. Assist with surveys and assessments to ensure presentations and programs are meeting student needs.
