Duties & Responsibilities Assists students in making an informed, timely, and appropriate decision regarding their academic major. Interprets test score data in order to direct students into the appropriate selection of mathematics, foreign language, natural sciences, English composition, and course loads. Presents options to students to optimal course selections which provide the highest likelihood to toward a degree. Advises students regarding resources for non-academic concerns such as financial aid, admission, employment, and personal and career counseling. Advises students regarding strategies to maintain academic scholarships.
Duties & Responsibilities Provides orientation services to students; and assists them in adjusting to new surroundings and academic demands. Articulates multiple options to new students and facilitates selection into programs such as Honors, Fresh Connections, ACAD, Student Support Services, and Study Abroad.
