Adheres to the mission of the Workforce Development Board of Eastern Arkansas. 2. Interview customers to gather information to determine eligibility for WIOA programs and assess needs for WIOA services. 3. Active recruitment of clients, worksites, and partners. Must be able to collaborate with local training providers, schools, and agencies. 4. Develop and implement service plans to meet customer needs within WIOA programs. 5. Develop and implement service plans to meet customer needs within any discretionary or
SNAP E&T
grants. 6. Coordinate service provider and partner agency activities both on and off site. Represent the WDBEA in the local area to develop professional relationships with schools, colleges, agencies, and business and industry. 7. Must adhere to all WDBEA Policies and Procedures and be capable of working independently to achieve goals but report progress to WDBEA Management/Director of Programs. Must be able to turn constructive guidance into results. 8. Provide ongoing case management and serve as a liaison between customers and service providers. 9. Manage a comprehensive caseload and meet budget goals. Must be goal-oriented. 10. Assists other career advisors on an as needed basis. Coordinate events to meet the goals assigned to the area. 11. Detailed orientated on all paperwork completed, including payroll documents and time sheets. If needed, pick-up time sheets and deliver work experience checks. 12. Identify and prepare reports to Director of Programs on areas that are barriers to services for customers and implement procedures to overcome those barriers; also report on budget and client progress. 13. Interpret policies and procedures. Makes recommendations to management on policy and procedure changes that would better serve client or area. 14. Uses assigned computer to input information and maintain case load in AJL and various automated reporting systems used by the local workforce system. 15. Perform other related duties as assigned, including home visits if necessary.
