About This Opportunity:

Monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring compliance to house rules.

Key Responsibilities:

Checks clients into the shelter, prepares and monitors client intake records. Responds to emergencies in a calm manner and initiates appropriate corrective actions in accordance with established policies and procedures. Track client data in HMIS. What we are looking for in you: High School Diploma or GED AND One year experience performing security work or social service worker preferred OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Ability to read, write and communicate the English Language.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to perform combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis. Distance of travel is usually within the same building. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
