Duties & Responsibilities Oversees an assigned group of campers in day to day activities Learns the material and activities provided in advance Takes initiative in all projects Follows directions and coordinates events as instructed; attends mandatory training as needed Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from a regionally accredited institution All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures Possess special skills such as: interest in arts, crafts, computers, sports, science, environment, reading or math Ability to be comfortable working outdoors for extended periods of time under varied environmental conditions Ability to pass swim test, if required Knowledge and training in CPR and First Aid Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff Additional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
