The UCF Online Connect Center teamworks with students as advocates and guides throughout their fullyonline academic experience at UCF. Success coaches are available tohelp our students locate resources and create effective strategiesto ensure success.
The Opportunity:
The University of CentralFlorida’s (UCF) Online Connect Center is searching for multipleStudent Coach II’s. The Student Coach II is a professional positionthat provides an enhanced level of coaching support to prospectiveand current UCF Online students. Student Coach II will deliversupport for students at all program levels and will beknowledgeable in all aspects of the student experience to include:recruitment, enrollment, coaching, student services, and retention.
Working collaboratively with teams of professionals and withacademic program partners, the Student Coach II will use enhancedcoaching methodologies to develop ongoing coaching relationshipswith prospective and current UCF students to provide earlyintegration, ongoing support, degree progression, and goalcompletion.
Coaching professionals provide coaching, holisticsupport, and related student services. Student CoachingProfessionals utilize coaching methodologies and case managementstrategies to provide comprehensive and personalized support thatpromotes students’ self-advocacy, progress, and successfulcompletion of educational goals.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and duties include, butare not limited to: Provides coaching to prospective, transitioning, and currentlyenrolled students. Demonstrates ability to use enhanced coaching techniques andmethodologies to successfully advance the students. Develops and implements highly proactive outreach services tocurrent students; focused on retention and success. Serves as Coach Liaison to academic program partners,committees, and leadership. Interfaces regularly with university college departments andfaculty. Ensures timely turnaround of services, meeting established unitbenchmarks, customer service standards, and key performanceindicators, while adhering to daily productivity metrics. Reports to the Directors of the UCF Online Connect Centerteam. Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevantexperience, or a Master’s degree, or an equivalent combination ofeducation and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
PreferredQualifications:
We welcome candidates with experience in any of thefollowing: Bachelor’s degree. Previous experience working at an institution of highereducation. Experience as a Student Coach. Previous Salesforce experience or a similar CRM system. The ideal candidate may possess these qualities: Ability to analyze and solve problems through criticalthinking; makes well-reasoned and timely decisions. Ability to plan and organize work, as well as handle multipletasks at the same time. Proactive attributes, takes initiative to get things donewithout prompting. Strong oral and written communication and presentationskills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within afast-paced, team-oriented environment. Familiarity with case management models and early-alert systemsis highly desirable. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends toaccommodate student needs or university events.

The OnlineConnect Center’s operating hours are
Monday-Friday:
7:00 am-7:00pm;
Saturday:
10:00 am-2:00 pm. The selected candidates will work40 hours per week within the operating hours, including at leastone late shift per week (9:00 am-6:00 pm or 10:00 am-7:00 pm). Thisis a hybrid role, and employees are required to work in-office atleast two days per week. Hybrid work is based on workload,university policy, and supervisor approval.
