Summary As a Career Coach at Second Mile Education, you will play a vital role in guiding students through their educational journeys. This position is essential for helping students develop the skills necessary for academic success and career readiness, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive. Responsibilities Provide individualized coaching and mentoring to students, helping them set and achieve academic and career goals. Conduct interviews and assessments to understand each student’s unique needs and aspirations. Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on personal development and educational planning. Collaborate with educators and staff to create personalized learning plans that align with student goals. Assist in recruiting new students by promoting the benefits of our educational programs. Utilize technology platforms effectively to track student progress and outcomes. Requirements Proven experience working with students in an educational or counseling capacity. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff. Experience in interviewing techniques and assessment methods is preferred. Familiarity with university systems or education administration is a plus. Ability to provide individual and group counseling tailored to student needs. Mentoring experience is highly desirable.
