River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.

Overall Function:
The Supportive Employment Supervisor provides oversight into IPS-supported employment programs. Ensures good program outcomes by providing training, supervision, and by working side-by-side with employment specialists (field mentoring). Attempts to meet most people who receive IPS services. Monitors outcomes and implements quality improvement plans. Acts as liaison to other departments and agencies. Supervises up to ten employment specialists. This position reports to the Chief Clinical Officer. The hourly rate for this position is $28.08.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Supervision:
Train, support, and evaluate employment specialists. Set performance expectations for employer contacts, job starts, and employment rates. Conduct weekly group supervision aligned with IPS principles.
Team Integration:
Assign each employment specialist to 1-2 mental health teams. Attend monthly mental health treatment team meetings to ensure service integration. Act as a liaison between employment services and other internal departments.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or a related field preferred. Associate or Full licensure required. Experience in the mental health field is strongly desired. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
